Romelu Lukaku breaks Paul Pogba's record at Manchester United

Pereira spent last season on loan at Granada, who were relegated from LaLiga, but is back with United and training with the first-team squad, including new signing Romelu Lukaku.

Having travelled with his parent club to the United States as part of the squad for the pre-season tour, the Brazil Under-20 global now feels now is the time to take his chance.

He is a decent player and while he is clearly not even close to being worth £75m, that is the going rate for a striker who will score you 20 Premier League goals in this insane transfer market.

Romelu Lukaku is already breaking Manchester United records, the announcement of the agreement over his transfer fee is now the club's most retweeted post of all time. Blended together with Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, Larsson understood what winning was all about, having won numerous league titles in Scotland with Celtic, and only six months before joining United, lifted the Champions League trophy with Barcelona. It's been a 14-year drought for the North Londoners in terms of the league title, but ironically, last year's failure could help them out in this respect, with a less competitive European tournament to distract them. Nainggolan himself has said he is open to a move this summer - expect United to pile on the pressure here should Tottenham continue to be obstinate in their valuation of Dier. "I am very happy for the young players and I want to be a part of this team as well".

Naturally, the debate started amongst the fans over who had gotten the better deal, as these two clubs, the dominant sides in the first half of the Premier League era, look to get back to their glory days again. He is a big personality and a big player.

From a sporting perspective, this looks like a deal that could reap rewards for both the buying and selling club, even if I don't believe Lukaku is a player worthy of the hype around him.
